BAMMA, leaders in MMA sports entertainment and the home of European MMA, adds two explosive bouts to BAMMA 21, as Ashleigh 'Cruiser' Grimshaw faces BAMMA newcomer Nad Narimani in a Featherweight bout & Gaz 'Spitfire' Pilot takes on Shay Walsh in a Bantamweight contest.
Ashleigh 'Cruiser' Grimshaw Vs. Nad Narimani (Featherweight)
Ashleigh 'Cruiser' Grimshaw (16-8), the London based all rounder, has been ready and raring to fight since his no contest against current BAMMA Featherweight Champion, Tom 'Fire Kid" DuQuesnoy back in September 2014. However, due to last minute injuries his opponents have pulled out and left him on the sidelines. Now he gets his chance to get back into the title mix with his bout against Nad Nanrimani, and he's ready to unleash all the pent up energy of the last few months.
Nad Narimani (7-2) fights out of Iron Mann MMA in Evesham, Worcestershire. Training alongside head coach Ronnie "Iron" Mann, Narimani has only one loss in his last 3 fights and that came via decision against Alex Enlund. With the majority of his wins coming via way of submission, Grimshaw's renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu base will be put to the test in Birmingham against Narimani.
Gaz 'Spitfire' Pilot Vs. Shay Walsh (Bantamweight)
The unbeaten Gaz 'Spitfire' Pilot (6-0) was last seen at BAMMA 17, where he bested Dino Gambesta via Rear Naked Choke at 3:08 of the 1st round, chalking up his first win in the promotion. Now looking to work his way up the ladder, the Manchester based Predators fighter is looking to make Walsh his stepping stone to the top.
Shay Walsh (12-3) returns for his third appearance at BAMMA. Dropping to the stacked Bantamweight division, he has made no bones about his objective and that he's coming after Ed Arthur's Bantamweight Title. But first he has to get past Gaz Pilot, a fight he's not taking lightly. Shay Walsh enters BAMMA 21 with a newly signed multi-fight contract as he prepares to take on BAMMA's Bantamweights.
