BAMMA World Middleweight Title On The Line At BAMMA 29

[London 20.03.17] BAMMA returns to Birmingham on May 12th 2017, and the vacant Middleweight World Title is on the line as Yannick 'Black Mamba' Bahati takes on Matt 'Farmerboy' Hallam for the gold.

“We are delighted to be returning to Birmingham for BAMMA 29 with such a huge show. Two world titles top off one of the most action packed cards we have ever assembled and I expect the roof to come off when England and Germany go head to head for the Heavyweight Title. May 12th is going to be big.”  David Green, BAMMA CEO

The BAMMA World Middleweight Title is also on the line at BAMMA 29, as Birmingham’s own Yannick ‘The Black Mamba’ Bahati takes on Matt ‘Farmer Boy’ Hallam. Two of the UK’s leading Middleweights, these fighters will be locking horns for the second time in their careers. First time around the victory went to Bahati but both fighters have progressed significantly since that bout. On May 12th, with the big one on the line,  we will find out if Bahati has what it takes to raise his hand once again or whether Hallam has since learnt the keys to defeating his nemesis and take home the glory.

"Just want to say how excited I am with this amazing opportunity at BAMMA. I'm feeling in top shape ready to takedown, smash, repeat in typical farmer style. All fights are tough but that's what drives us to be the best. This one is no different. Looking forward to see shin meet face and to show the world my new victory dance. Big thanks to family, friends, training partners, London shoot and Spiked Athletics for all their continued support." - Matt 'Farmerboy' Hallam

"I'm back in UK fighting for BAMMA the UK's number 1 promotion. I'm the best UK middleweight outside the UFC, the rest of them are bums and not on my level. May 12th  I will be BAMMA world middleweight champion by finishing Matt Hallam once again in a bloody mess and  become 2 promotion world champion." - Yannick 'Black Mamba' Bahati
