5. Oli ‘The Spartan’ Thompson Vs. Gzim ‘The Albanian Psycho’ Selmani

You like you fights as fast as they are violent? Well then we have just the fight for you. Serving as the main event of BAMMA 15, this was the first ever MMA event to be held at the Copper Box arena following the London Olympics of 2012.

Featuring the unheralded Gzim ‘The Albanian Psycho’ Selmani who is now better known as one half of the WWE?NXT Tag Team Champions the Authors of Destruction’s Rezar, no one knew what they were about to witness. Oli ‘The Spartan’ Thompson was the huge favourite here and the former Britains Strongest Man was looking to fast track himself to a title shot with a win over Selmani. However the towering Selmani had other ideas and took less than a minute to shock the crowd, the commentary team and Thompson himself. Watch the explosive action below

4. Dyson Roberts Vs. Jeremy ‘Ninja’ Petley
At BAMMA 10 held at Wembley Arena (As it was known then) this preliminary bout was seen as an arrival of sorts for highly touted prospect Dyson Roberts. Facing the experienced Canadian, Jeremy ‘Ninja’ Petley, the experts were expecting Roberts to dominate on the feet and control the bout. For the first two rounds this is exactly how it played out with Roberts controlling the bout. Then in the biggest turnaround victory that people still talk about today, the fight went to the ground and everything changed…

3. Tom ‘Firekid’ Duquesnoy Vs. Teddy ‘Snatch’ Violet
Another bout from BAMMA 15 this time for the BAMMA World Featherweight title. At the time Duquesnoy and Violet were France’s top two Featherweights and there was huge interest in this fight. Tom ‘Firekid’ Duquesnoy was a little known prospect at this point and this was seen as the fight that would put him firmly on the map or send him back to the drawing board. Featuring one of the slickest triangles you will see today, Tom ‘Firekid’ Duquesnoy put the world on notice…

2. Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair Vs. Andre Winner
BAMMA 10 saw Europes top 2 Lightweights go at it in the main event for five punishing rounds for the BAMMA World Lightweight Championship. In a battle that saw both fighters pushed to their very limits, both Champion Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair and Andre Winner put on a battle for the ages. You can read more on this fight in a BAMMA Retrospective here (http://www.bamma.com/news/2014/02/09/bamma-fight-retrospectives-sinclar-vs-winner-bamma-10) But witness below one of the greatest BAMMA title fights of all time.

1. Tom ‘Kong’ Watson Vs. Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua
Held as the main event of BAMMA 6 for the BAMMA World Middleweight title, Watson had been making waves off the back of the now legendary Alex Reid fight at BAMMA 4. His return here saw him face an absolute legend of the sport in Rua. Having comepted in Pride during it’s prime, Rua was a legitimate threat to Watson. However Watson was the younger lion and one with an iron jaw. The violence that unfolds as Watson picks Rua apart over three round is a spectacle of beautiful violence. One that would be a Kingmaking battle for Watson and Murilo Rua’s final as he retired following this bout.
