BAMMA announce that BAMMA RDX European Champion Terry 'The Dominator' Brazier has re-signed with the promotion on a long term contract.
The Dominator has been undefeated since joining BAMMA and now seeks to reach the top of the mountain, and dethrone reigning BAMMA World Champion Alex 'Da Kid' Lohore at the earliest possible opportunity.
After signing his new contract, bamma.com sat down with the Dominator to get the first interview with the newly re-signed fighter.
You had plenty of offers from rival global promotions, why did you decide to re-sign with BAMMA?
"We are lucky enough to have such a great large show in the uk and it makes sense to stick with BAMMA, I love the way it's run, the TV coverage and production is great. It was a no brainer really, no-one else could offer this."
When should we expect to see the Era of Domination begin?
"Over the next 2 months I'm gonna tie up a few loose ends and get back into full time training, it won't be too long"
And what is your view of the BAMMA welterweight division currently?
"The Welterweight division is a great division full of talent, some great fights to be had defending my belt. Both my RDX title and my soon to be won World title"
Is there anyone in particular who should prepare for the return of the Dominator?
"At the moment I have my eyes set on the one who acts like da kid ...... I think they call him La B**tch. He's just a terrible Champion. Bad for the brand and definetly bad for the sport. He simply has no respect for the people who helped get him to where he is today. He maybe the Champ for now, but he's only keeping the belt warm for me. Enjoy the way back down Alex."
A former Para, Brazier is a man who has brushed aside all opponents put in his way in his BAMMA career so far, and he now readies himself for a potentially defining year in 2018. The Era of Domination is set to begin!
